Open Adoption

Open adoption is a form of adoption where the birth family and the adopted child maintain some kind of ongoing relationship.  Phone calls, email updates, face to face interaction.  The terms of these relationships vary but the concept is the same; child-centric adoptions involve consideration by all parties involved for the adoptee's needs first.

We like open adoption.
